Here are some commonly asked questions and their answers:
Q: Can we plant trees in the easement between the sidewalk and the street?
A: Yes. Only Queen Palms may be planted in this area. They must have a starting height of no less than eight (8) feet. They must be at least eight (8) feet apart and no less than four (4) feet from the property line. Residents planting Queen Palms in the easement do not require a permit or MRC approval. Residents must contact the appropriate utilities before digging and are ultimately responsible for maintenance and upkeep of these trees.
Q: Can we put our storm panels up, during hurricane season, while we are away?
A: No. Storm panels may be installed two weeks
prior to the arrival of a storm and must be removed no more than two weeks after
the storm has passed. There must be imminent danger from a storm before
panels are installed.
Q: Is there additional parking available to guests of residents?
A: Yes. Five (5) spaces have been reserved at the
pool for overflow parking on a first come, first serve basis. Cars may be
parked in the pool parking lot for no more than five (5) days. Handicapped
spaces are not included in this arrangement. Residents wishing to utilize
this parking option should contact Fairway Management at (321) 777-7575 or the
HOA at hoa@auburn-lakes.org.
Vehicles parked at the pool area for more than five (5) days will be subject to
tow at the owner's expense.
