The following requirements are necessary when constructing a fence enclosure:
- Fencing should be used to screen or buffer private areas, not to enclose entire lot. In no event shall any fence exceed six feet (9'0") in height from grade to top of fence or be shorter than four feet (4'0") and must be a wood shadowbox type fence (see attached fence detail).
- Fences are required to be set back ten feet (10'0") from the front building line on each side of the residence.
- Corner lot fences must be set back a minimum of three feet (3 '0") off of community sidewalks and conform to applicable governmental height requirements.
- To avoid blocking views from an adjacent residence, no fence should extend the rear line of the home if the rear lot borders a lake, conservation, or golf course.
The use of landscaping is encouraged to visually soften fences and walls. Thank you for your understanding and compliance in this matter.
If you should have any questions, please contact Susan T. Bowers at 321-242-1200 extension 4521.
Sincerely,
PLAN REVIEW COMMITTEE
