VIERA EAST COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION GARAGE SALE SIGN PROGRAM

In order to keep the appearance of the streets in Viera consistent with the community-wide standard. the Viera Modifications Review Committee has established a Garage Sale Sign Program to be utilized by all residents of Viera.

Following are the guidelines for this program:

1. Each home/homeowner is allowed by Brevard County Code to have two garage sales each year.

2. Each home/homeowner will be limited to three days in which the signs may be erected.

3. The number of signs per home/homeowner shall not exceed five.

4. The location of the signs and the number of signs in a location will be limited. (See below).

No signs will be allowed at intersections of major thoroughfares such as Viera Blvd. and Murrell Rd.. US I and Viera Blvd.. Murrell Road and Barnes Blvd., or Wickham Rd and Murrell Rd. No signs will be allowed in areas landscaped with plants, trees, (Le., medians) etc., or in front of wall entrance features which may be the jurisdiction of the community and/or district association.

Only one sign will be placed at locations outside subdivision or neighborhood. If your subdivision, (i.e., Wingate, Auburn Lakes, Viera East Villages), is not located along a major thoroughfare then one sign will be allowed to be placed on the immediate corner of the major thoroughfare (Murrell Rd.) leading to your subdivision. Once inside a subdivision or neighborhood where more than one garage sale is occurring, each homeowner may install additional signs (not exceeding five signs per homeowner)

A deposit of $10.00 per sign, maximum of 5 signs per homeowner $50.00, will be required when you pick up the signs. You will receive a full refund of $10.00 per sign, if they are returned in an acceptable condition. Please note: there will not be a refund for any sign missing or signs not returned in an acceptable condition. Do not write on the signs. The signs are due back within two business days after the sale.
